Other Works

Here are some other editing projects that I have done over the years.

"Detective David" (2024)

Role: Director, Offline/Online Editor & Co-writer

A very recent editing job. This video is made for a "Research Methodology" online learning course. The material is delivered through a narrative about a detective helping out his friend to understand the material better. With this project, I was given the chance to do some motion graphics such as, character name introductions, pop up text boxes and a 1966 "Batman" style transition. All three of these can be seen below:

"Silver Queen Ad" (2023)

Role: Offline/Online Editor

An advertisement made for the yogurt flavored Silver Queen chocolate bar. A very short but quirky and fun spirited commercial for the famous chocolate brand.

"Keamanan Cyber" (2023)

Role: Videographer & Offline/Online Editor

A project made for educational purposes. This video is fully edited and filmed by me and aims to warn viewers about the dangers of sexual harassment and the importance of cyber security in this day and age. All this aided with news footage, mockup phone tutorial and a short scene depicting a sexual harasser on Instagram with pop up text messages, to really convey our concerns.

"One Second from Every James Bond Movie" (2022)

Role: Offline Video Editor

Being a massive James Bond fan, I thought it'd be fun to show one second from all of the 25 films. In one quick video, viewers can witness how the Bond films evolve over time, from the 1960s to the 2010s.

"Manifest Campaign" (2021)

Role: Director, Co-videographer, Writer & Offline/Online Editor

A project made for a social campaign. Here, I was required to document myself giving food to the needy. But as a young and aspiring filmmaker, I decided to go all out and decided to give the video the style of a noir film.

Similarly to "Life and Death of 9413", it has a black and white look and a 4:3 aspect ratio. However the video opens and closes with a full screen color look. In the end, there's a transition from the noir to modern look (the 4:3 aspect ratio switches to 16:9).

"Ayo Stop Prokrastinasi!" (2021)

Role: Director, Videographer, Writer & Offline/Online Editor

Another campaign video. But this one aims to highlight why procrastination should be avoided. For this one, I decided to visually show an example of procrastination in the beginning; with me playing a video game instead of working. On top of that, the video also explains why procrastination is bad, while accompanied with visuals to make the message clear.
